Emma
- 1923 Herreshoff 15
Emma
is an exquisite 1923 Herreshoff 15. Sporting a traditional Buzzard's Bay gaff rig, she is a true gentlemen's boat to sail and constant head turner. At 24’ feet overall, she can handle the chop but moves swiftly in light air.
Discovered uncovered and abandoned in Old Saybrook, Connecticut in 1982, she was restored personally by famed furniture designer and yachtsman Adrian Pearsall. Emma
has been in the Pearsall family ever since, spending the last 25 summers on Narragansett Bay, Newport, Rhode Island.
Herreshoff 15's are remarkably collectible, and original hulls are extremely rare finds. Current online listings range from $50,000 to $150,00. Emma
is in near perfect condition, stored safely indoors and ready for somebody to soon celebrate 100 years of her life. Offers are welcome.
Swedish 5 Meter
Built in the 1930's in Sweden for a royal family, we named this boat "Lucky", because like an abandoned puppy, she was retrieved from barely surviving exposed New England winters to living and safely indoors for the past 15 years.
Lucky
is ready for next forever home. Beautiful lines, great pedigree- all she needs is love. For "Lucky" we are looking for a devoted caregiver more so than cash- that would be priceless!
